Why Children need to get outside!

This article eloquently explains the need of children to have free time to be in nature. Great read.

Megan E. Devendorf: Walpole MA, MA, United States; I am a stay at home mom. My husband and I have two beautiful children, Maria (3 yrs,) Harrison (4 months). I have been teaching at the preschool level for 10 years. I attained my B.S from the University of Vermont in Early Childhood Ed. I most recently finished my masters in Early Care and Ed from Wheelock College. As a mom and teacher I want to share my passion for inquiry based learning for children and adults.
